Participating in the e-Framework
Helping to expand the knowledge base
The success of the e-Framework depends on the accumulation of a wide range of services from the international community. Only when a sufficient knowledge base has been established can the vision of reusable, interoperable services be realised.
Thus your input will contribute to the ongoing development of the e-Framework, and you will benefit from the continually growing collection of services. The collection will help you to decompose your organisation’s business processes and to design and deploy a set of interoperable networked services that will meet your needs and conform to appropriate open standards.
Collaborating on service development
Anyone with an interest in the e-Framework can suggest additions to the e-Framework’s knowledge base. The easiest way to begin participating is to join the e-Framework Community Wiki and follow the instructions to obtain an account.
Submitting a documented service
At the end of the wiki development cycle, services and SUMs must be formally submitted to the e-Framework for possible inclusion in the knowledge base and publication on the website.
See the How to submit outline for an overview of the submission process and links to detailed submission instructions.
