New e-Framework SUMs document maintenance of collections

March 2009
Two new Service Usage Models (SUMs) combine the Add, Read, Replace and Remove service genres to describe the functions inherent in maintaining collections. Their broad functionality is expected to make them highly reusable in SUMs that describe many applications and ICT systems. The Simple Collection Maintenance SUM provides four basic function points - Add, Read, Replace and Remove - while the Searchable Collection Maintenance SUM also includes the capability for Search operations.
