Sponsored by Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) and Digital Repository Infrastructure Vision for European Research (DRIVER), this workshop is described as "an international agenda for action on repositories infrastructure". It will focus on the components of repositories infrastructure, including review of approaches to sustainability, scalability and interoperability. Expected outcomes are identification of opportunities for international collaboration and shared action plans. Repositories is currently an area of common interest and future collaboration among the e-Framework international partners.

The workshop is being held in Amsterdam with the SURFfoundation as co-sponsor.
