Targeted at the Australian education community, the IDEA 2008 events are focused on Enabling Technology - Forging a Digital Future. The IDEA Lab Interoperability Workshop will provide education infrastructure implementers with techncial updates on the e-Framework as well as on Schools Interoperability Forum (SIF), OASIS and IMS Global Learning Consortium. The day and a half Technology in Education Open Forum is aimed at policy makers and implementers responsible for education technology and vendors wishing to integrate their services into education infrastructure. The event is sponsored by the Australian Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, Link Affiliates and the University of Southern Queensland.
