September 2008 JISC has commissioned Curtis+Cartwright Consulting Limited to contribute UK security functionality to the e-Framework. The study will focus on the security-based developments of the UK Access Management Federation for Education and Research, the National Grid Service (NGS) Certification Authority (CA) and related JISC projects.
September 2008 The IMS Global Learning Consortium will hold its next quarterly meetings in conjunction with a Summit on Interoperability that is being co-sponsored by JISC. The e-Framework director, Ian Dolphin, will speak about "Practical SOA and the e-Framework" at the 18 September 2008 session devoted to Recent and Current Approaches to Interoperability.
