Late in 2007 there was a Cabinet reshuffle, resulting in a new Minister of Education, Hon. Chris Carter, and a new Minister for Tertiary Education, Hon. Pete Hodgson.
The e-Framework partners — JISC, DEEWR, the New Zealand Ministry of Education and the SURF foundation — met in Wellington, New Zealand from 30 October to 1 November 2007.
The OASIS Technical Advisory Board announced the program for the consortium's annual symposium, Open Standards 2008, which will be held in Santa Clara, California, 28 April - 1 May.
